If the technical conditions for rolled or drawn pipes are insufficient for your designated application, we can offer you rough-turning, aligning and grinding processing options. These processing steps enable us to achieve considerably improved results as regards dimensional stability, concentricity, straightness and microscopic surface structure. By means of rough-turning, we remove any surface decarburisation which would impair inductive hardening of the surface, for example. Rough-turning enables us to guarantee dimensional tolerance of up to ISO 9. Closer tolerances of up to ISO 6 are achieved by subsequent multiple surface grinding, whereby the same conditions apply for us as for the manufacture of a piston rod from full materials. During the manufacturing process, dimensional stability, concentricity and straightness are controlled and documented permanently with the result that intervention is possible even during the production process, guaranteeing high manufacturing quality. We would be delighted to refine pipes you provide within the framework of commission jobs. In collaboration with our preliminary materials suppliers, we can also offer you full solutions, however. Our pipe processing jobs are bound by a minimum wall strength. The following chart indicates the technical possibilities.
