Piston rods
A prerequisite for consistently high quality involves the selection of suitable preliminary materials. Only raw materials from Western European steel mills are used which manufacture according to a special rolling and aligning method and are approved of by us for the production of piston rods. This preliminary process complies with the basic requirements for manufacturing piston rods displaying maximum stress-relief and concentricity.
We avail of special testing procedures for examining technical features developed by leading manufacturers of measuring equipment which we then coordinate to our customers’ requirements. The measured results are compared with customer specifications and our own internal quality requirements during the entire production process.
We offer an extensive range of models rough-turned through to stress-relieved and ground to the closest tolerances. Often it is not only the technical pointers or good price/performance ratios which are of decisive importance but also the swift availability of the product at short notice. We have aligned our stocks specifically to comply with such requirements. Combined with a high degree of flexibility, we can also supply products swiftly and reliably at short notice.
We offer mill lengths or fixed lengths with the appropriate extra dimensions for Ck45 and 42CrMo4 V stocks. Our stock range provides an overview of dimensions available.
